We plan to organize 2 mini dragon boat marathons of 5 km each in 2 towns along the Danube in the cross-border area – Silistra in Bulgaria and Orsova in Romania. Each event will last 2 days. The first day will be for free trainings and the second for the competition itself. This activity will include participants of different age groups and sex. The participation of women, elderly people over the age of 60 and young people under 18 will be encouraged.
The main objectives of these events are to bring people closer to nature, in direct contact with the Danube and promote the new tourism product – dragon boats!
